Design Contract Interiors Ltd was formed in May 1995 and operations began the following June in the trades of suspended ceilings and partitions, at this stage operating from the home of the founding director, Peter Trice. This continued up till April 2002 when Steve Trice joined the company and it became necessary to obtain an office and storage facility which is now the current trading address.

The combined experience in these trades is about 66 years covering a wide range of clients including industrial companies, education facilities and commercial premises.

This type of client base is still that currently encompassed with installations being undertaken for various main contractors at KFC, Dolland and Aitchison, Tesco Stores (generally re-fit works) and Inland Revenue Offices, as well as Local Authority Housing works in Birmingham for Thomas Vale.

Our experience of carrying out installations and modifications in occupied premises is extensive and our site operatives maintain our standards both in work produced and cleanliness of site achieving a high level of satisfaction from the clients for both the quality of the work and the minimal disruption of their day to day operations.

In August 2003 we formed a small Building Services division which is run by Rick Trice and undertakes plumbing, general building works encompassing carpentry, brickwork and minor roofing works. Also we have facilities for electrical maintenance, air conditioning installation and repair together with flooring works using our approved sub-contractors. Over this range of work we offer clients the facility for reactive maintenance in all trades on a call-out basis for which we can provide a schedule of charges within defined radii.

As you no doubt have noticed from the foregoing text, this is very much a family business which prides itself in the quality of work and service that it affords to clients. Much of our turnover is from repeat business obtained on value for money costs and quality delivered.
